WebConnection

General

A WebConnection is an abstraction of a Database Connection (JDBC Connection). You have to define database pools (more info here) to use database connections. You can have multiple database connections on one WebForm or WebPanel, and you can use each connection for multiple ResultSets (WebDataBaseSource.)

Example

Here is a description how to add a WebConnection to an example WebForm:

Just add the WebConnection Component to an arbitraty WebForm / WebPanel and select the dbPool property. A dropdown list will appear with all database pools you have configured in the W4T Eclipse Preferences (Configure Database Pools). After selecting a pool the arrows next to the connection should point to the outside, this means the connection has been established.

WebConnections are invisible, you can see them only in the Design Editor.
